Ohio Rural Electric Cooperative lends a helping hand to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Helping to educate youth, Rural Electric Coops lends a helping hand to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The initiative aims to increase childhood literacy by mailing books to kids across rural America.

Ohio Rural Electric Cooperative’s Patrick Higgins speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on being a sponsor, how the pandemic has impacted children, and who all is eligible for the program.

“We have enrolled, as of the beginning of this year, just over 5,000 children since we became involved,” Higgins states.
