Propane Prices: Why your wallet doesn’t hurt as much at the pump this year

Propane prices are not as painful this year and that is thanks to a warmer fall. Industry leaders say inventories are at their highest levels seen over the last few years.

“So from that respect, we are looking very good. That also leads right into probably a pricing conversation, that you know, supply and demand still applies in our industry, and with those higher supplies comes very stable pricing. So I think that’s a great thing for folks,” said Michael Newland.

Newland points out historic similarities between crude oil prices and the propane market but he says that is different now due to supply changes.
