Rising country star Ryan Larkins drops his debut EP, ‘Meet Ryan Larkins’

Oct 13, 2023 – Nashville, TN – Prolific songwriter and Red Street Records’ recording artist Ryan Larkins released his debut EP, Meet Ryan Larkins (HERE) alongside a visualizer for his included debut single, “King of Country Music” (watch HERE) available everywhere today. The EP follows the August release of his introductory songs “She’s the Tough One” and “Man That Holds the Beer” and launches a promising and exciting chapter for the new act. The EP’s launch also follows a massive week for Ryan as “The Painter,” his most recent cut by Cody Johnson, climbed into the Top 30 on the Country radio charts. Ryan shares, “I’m so thankful for Red Street Records and Jay DeMarcus! The timing of this release couldn’t be more perfect. These songs on my new EP are some of my favorite I’ve ever written, and I believe this next chapter of my career is going to be the best one yet.”

Fans can hear five binge-worthy tracks on the new Meet Ryan Larkins, two previously released and three brand new to listeners – “Dream Baby,” “Paid For It” and the single, “King of Country Music.” Produced by Red Street CEO Jay DeMarcus alongside Pete Good and Ilya Toshinskiy, the entirety of the project was penned by Larkins himself alongside William Duval, JR McCoy, Carlo Colassaco, Blake Chaffin, Pete Good, Josh Osborne, Jay Knowles and Adam Wright. A classic country vocal paired with rooted lyrical genius put Ryan’s unequivocal stamp on the project with verses like,

“You can hear him in the church house on Sunday Morning / They still play him on the radio / You can hear his voice from Saginaw to Houston / It echoes down the halls on Music Row

Though fresh on the scene as a solo artist, Ryan has forged his path as an acclaimed songwriter with cuts like Tim McGraw’s new “Hold On To It,” Dolly Parton and Bill Anderson’s GRAMMY-nominated “Someday It’ll All Make Sense” and, of course, Cody Johnson’s rising hit “The Painter.” Red Street label-head and GRAMMY-award winning producer Jay DeMarcus shares, “The talent that Ryan brings to the world of country music is unmatched.
