Roman Alexander gets emotional with new country comfort anthem “Pour You A Drink”

His new EP, Midwest Calling set to release on August 22nd

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 11, 2025) – Country riser Roman Alexander releases his latest single, “Pour You a Drink,” a heartfelt country track that blends emotional depth with smooth charm. Co-written with Casey Brown (Russell Dickerson, Jelly Roll, Jon Pardi), Josh Kerr (Russell Dickerson, Steven Wilson Jr., Thomas Rhett), Jordan Minton (Ashley Cooke, Keith Urban, Dan & Shay), Travis Wood (Jordan Davis, Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell, Ella Langley), the song offers a comforting hand to anyone nursing a broken heart. With a laid-back groove and conversational lyrics, Alexander plays the role of a late-night confidant—offering whiskey, warmth, and a place to fall apart. It’s more than just a rebound anthem; it’s a reminder that healing sometimes starts with a drink, a porch light left on, and someone who’s willing to listen. “Pour You a Drink” adds a fresh, emotionally honest layer to Alexander’s growing catalog and proves once again his talent for storytelling through song.

Give It A Listen

Roman says, “‘Pour You a Drink’ is one of those songs that came from real life — like most of mine. It’s about knowing someone deserves better and saying it out loud. Sometimes it’s simple; She wasn’t being treated right, and I had a barstool, a bottle, and the kind of attention he forgot to give her.“

This is the third single off his new EP Midwest Calling, set to be released on August 22nd, and it continues to showcase Alexander’s signature blend of modern country soul and small-town storytelling. With “Pour You a Drink,” he builds anticipation for the project, offering a glimpse into the emotional range and relatable moments that fans can expect from the full release.
