Roundup at Risk: Why the herbicide is still at risk for litigation

Roundup herbicide remains subject to potential litigation due to ongoing concerns regarding failure-to-warn claims.

The National Ag Law Center says it centers around the responsibility of manufacturers to inform consumers about potential risks associated with their products. While these legal actions may not change EPA Pesticide Regulation directly, they could affect the availability of glyphosate in the future.

It is unclear if Bayer will seek a federal court opinion on preemption of failure-to-warn claims or if the Supreme Court will intervene.
