We would like to say congratulations to Dr. Jeffrey Gold who has been selected as the University of Nebraska’s new president!
Gold plans to focus on workforce development and strategic leadership.
During his tenure, he aims to continue prioritizing workforce development, echoing sentiments from various campus events. He also intends to find a full-time successor for the provost position and an interim Chancellor for UNMC.
He will assume the president’s role on July 1st.
Also, Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold received the inaugural “Heartland Hero Award” from Rural Media Group.
