Dr. Jeffrey Gold of the University of Nebraska Medical Center speaks with RFD-TV’s own John Jenkinson about the COIVD-19 coronavirus and its impact on rural health. Dr. Gold says that the biggest issue for farmers is tackling the fears of the virus and how it will affect their livelihood. He goes on to say that the best preventative measures are just common sense: wash your hands, social distancing, staying out of large groups, stay home if you might be sick, and stay current on your information. According to Dr. Gold, steps like this will help rural hospitals in fighting the more serious cases of this virus.
