Rural Nebraska rebuilds after disastrous flooding

It is the one year anniversary of some of the most disastrous storms in Nebraska in recent history. The storms caused unprecedented flooding for farmers, ranchers and rural communities.

The Nebraska Farm Bureau helped the communities rebuild by establishing a $3.4 million disaster relief fund which was used for debris removal, repair of personal property, fencing for livestock and farm equipment.

The record flooding in Nebraska caused more than $600 million in estimated damage.
