Senate passes the stopgap spending bill a day after the House passage

Late last night, the Senate passed the stopgap spending bill, avoiding a major disaster in Washington.

This continuing resolution keeps USDA and FDA funded until mid-January and other government agencies like the EPA going until February.

President Biden is expected to sign the agreement by tomorrow.
