Sophie Jane named “Barn Cat of the Year”

Let’s see which cat the Massachusetts Farm Bureau chose as their “Barn Cat of the Year!”

Sophie Jane from Sunderland, Massachusetts was chosen as this year’s “Barn Cat of the Year!” Sophie Jane works hard to keep the barn at Thomas Farm and Dairy free of birds and rodents. She is also extremely affectionate and an excellent napper.

The contest was sponsored by The Pet Food Institute and the winners received a gift basket of pet-themed items. The Pet Food Institute also awarded “The Best Napper,” “The Best Mouser,” “Best Dressed,” and “Sassiest.
