Harry Vold was revered as the “Duke of Chutes,” one of only two rodeo stock contractors to have supplied stock for the entire 50-year-plus history of the now Las Vegas-based Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. As the patriarch and namesake of the Harry Vold Rodeo Company, the Canadian native established one of the largest stock contracting companies in North America. Over four decades, Vold earned a reputation as a straight-shooting, hardworking legend.
