Bio: Three-time American competitor, seven-time WNFR qualifier, and three-time RNCFR qualifier, Steven Peebles, 26, of Redmond, Oregon, after recovering from a nearly fatal injury just six months ago, miraculously stole the spotlight at the 2015 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo where he won Round 2 for his third consecutive year, scoring 84.5 points. After a ten-round battle against four-time defending world champion, Kaycee Feild, Peebles claimed his victory with an average standing of 832.5 points.
Peebles also won his first gold buckle, and the Top Gun Award, leaving him short just one gold buckle from tying his father, Lewis Field—five-time world champion. The bareback-riding champion said that he is just happy to be alive and competing.
