CP Railway has shut down

We have an update for you on the situation happening to our northern neighbors. The Canadian Pacific Railway has shut down because negotiations failed to reach a deal by the midnight deadline.

CP and Teamsters Rail Conference Canada are pointing fingers at each other for the failed talks. The Teamsters union said that they wanted to continue bargaining, putting the supply chain and jobs at risk.

In response, CP calls their actions reckless and disappointing. The work stoppage will bring even more uncertainty to our fertilizer markets.
