Association of Equipment Manufacturers Explains the ‘America Competes Act’

Legislation is currently up for vote in the Senate that would address foreign anticompetitive practices.

The “Competes Act” aims to provide investments for America’s workforce development, bolstering our competitive edge with China.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ Kip Eideberg spoke with RFD-TV’s Janet Adkison about the overview of the legislation, the benefits that it holds for the agriculture equipment sector, if he sees this decreasing dependence on foreign manufacturers, what the next steps are moving forward and if he sees any hurdles in the process.
