Strawberry season is already looking sweet for Louisiana growers!

Strawberry season is about to begin in earnest as growers across Louisiana are beginning to see an increase in blooming.

They had to battle snow and record cold temperatures in January, but LSU AgCenter’s Craig Gautreaux said the snow helped shield the plants from the low temperatures.
