Health officials in Tennessee have confirmed another outbreak of High Pathogenic Avian Influenza, marking the third one in the state.
It happened at a commercial chicken facility in the eastern part of the state, but officials did not confirm how many animals were affected. They have established a six-mile control zone around the facility where the birds will be tested and monitored for symptoms.
Officials across the country say producers should remain vigilant as they expect more cases to pop up as we move into winter.
