One person in Texas has been infected with High Path Avian Flu after having direct contact with cattle, according to AgriPulse.
State officials made the announcement earlier today and said the infected individual is being treated with an antiviral drug and is in recovery.
Last week, USDA announced the first cases in dairy herds in Kansas and Texas. Over the weekend, Michigan reported a case of High Path Avian Flu in its dairy herd.
