The biodiesel industry wants multi-year RFS

As the clock ticks down for the EPA to release the Renewable Fuel Standard, fuel groups say the industry is ready to produce more biodiesel.

The Clean Fuels Alliance is calling on the EPA to increase biodiesel volume by 500 million gallons as well as advanced biofuels by 2 billion gallons over the next two years.

The group says they see potential to become a 6 billion gallon industry, which is a big leap over their current 2.8 billion gallons of biodiesel set by the EPA for 2022 volumes.
