The Farmer First Fuel Incentive Act is being reintroduced and is being led by Sen. Roger Marshall

“I see a path forward on this one. This is good for farmers and ranchers in this time of uncertainty.”

Legislation is being reintroduced to restrict 45Z tax credit eligibility to renewable fuels made only from domestic feedstocks. It also aims to extend the credit to ten years, allowing time to build needed infrastructure.

It is being led by Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas.

Sen. Marshall spoke with RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander about what the Farmer First Fuel Incentive Act aims to do, how it will boost energy production, and next steps for the legislation.
