The Heart Behind the Efforts: Louisiana Farm Bureau is lending a hand to its neighbors impacted by wildfires

The Louisiana Farm Bureau is working to lend their Texas neighbors a hand following the devastating Smokehouse Creek Fire.
Not only are they supporting the Texas and Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s efforts to get relief to those who need it, but they have even started an initiative of their own.

Tri-parish coops from the boot to the panhandle are accepting both monetary and supply donations which will be trucked to Texas during the first week of April.

This Week in Louisiana Agriculture caught up with one producer who shared the heart behind the efforts.
