Ducks have officially returned to a New York Farm that lost everything after an outbreak of high path avian flu.
Crescent Duck Farm is the only remaining duck producer in New York.
The virus wiped out the entire flock in January. For months, fourth-generation farmer Doug Corwin has been sanitizing barns, clearing out hay, and replacing essential equipment.
Last month, the farm welcomed back its first thousand young ducks. Corwin says that Cresent Duck Farm has a long way to go, and if he gets hit again, he is done as a duck farmer.
