The Livestock Conservancy is working to protect agricultural livestock and poultry in the United States, and they aim to preserve and promote more than 180 breeds. This week, they are focused on the importance of saving heritage livestock globally.
Interim Executive Director, Judy Brummer joined RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander to discuss what the week entails, the important role that rare breeds play in agriculture, and some of the main efforts for preserving and protecting the breeds.
