The Wilson County-Tennessee State Fair just wrapped up its first weekend.
The county and state fair is combined for the third year in a row. It takes place at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, about 30 miles east of Nashville.
Like most state fairs, it promotes ag and encourages 4-H and FFA kids to participate in different competitions.
Among the many highlights: 40 pies were entered in the Bake-Off. The Made in Tennessee Exhibit showcases items that are grown or produced in the 95 counties of the Volunteer State. This morning, they held their 8th annual Tennessee State Fair FFA Ham Breakfast.
This year the Tennessee State Fair runs through August 26th.
