HPAI has now been found at a third commercial turkey farm in southern Indiana.
State officials say that a high mortality rate led to testing, and culling has begun to prevent any more spread. The Indiana State Board says that ten commercial poultry flocks within the new control area are quarantining and will be tested weekly.
Indiana ranks third nationally in turkey production.
