This upscale restaurant has the waterfront views but with a locally-produced menu

Pearl’s on the Lake in Hope, Idaho is part of a local culinary family legacy. Named after their daughter, Pearl’s on the Lake is Alex and Brittany Jacobson’s latest culinary adventure featuring “upscale-yet-down-to-earth” dining with unbeatable views of Lake Pend Oreille.

The couple has a deep appreciation for their local farmers. Whenever possible, Pearl’s on the Lake sources its meat, dairy, and produce for the establishment’s rotating, seasonal menu.

One of those local producers is Pack River Farms. They produce chard microgreens in their grow room year-round, exclusively for the Jacobson’s restaurants.

Idaho Preferred and the Idaho Department of Agriculture have the story.
