A young woman from North Carolina has earned the Miss United States Agriculture People’s Choice Award, but that is just one in a long list of challenges 22-year-old Katie Haynes has decided to conquer.
She spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about what it was like competing in the program and what it means to win the award, her non-profit “Smiling While Sending Hope,” and her background with FFA and 4-H.
