Toby Keith was honored with seven awards from BMI for over 23 million radio spins at the iconic Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in Nashville, TN on August 30, 2016.

“BMI has always been great to songwriters and great for me,” Keith said before receiving the awards. He also told the story of how BMI was with him as soon as he moved to Nashville, which makes these awards even more special.
The singer/songwriter encouraged others to keep writing. “Dreams do come true,” he said.
