The Association of Equipment Manufacturers released their monthly flash report earlier this week.

The report revealed that U.S. tractor sales are up five percent in 2020 compared to January of 2019. Almost 12,600 tractors were sold in 2020 compared to about 12,000 the previous year.

A deeper look showed two-wheel drive smaller tractors were up 3 percent while two-wheel drive with more than a 100+ HP were up 20 percent. Four-wheel drive tractors on the other hand were down 7 percent.

Combine sales, however, were down 25 percent compared to January of 2019. Sales reached 198 in January of 2020 compared to 262 in 2019.
