Trio of criminals captured after stealing millions of dollars worth of frozen meat

Police busted a Miami-based crime ring linked to the theft of frozen meat.

Federal, state, and local authorities say since the summer of 2021, the trio stole 45 semis packed with beef and pork. They targeted packing plants in six states across the Midwest.

The thefts were valued at $9 million dollars. Police used cell phone records and GPS to track the group.
