USDA is already taking a look at this year’s Thanksgiving turkey forecast.
They are expecting a larger supply for both this year and next.
USDA Outlook Board Chair Mark Jekanowski says that the boost in production this year will bring prices down. He says we will likely see more than four cents off 2023 wholesale prices and turkeys should cost even less in 2024.
