Tyson looks to serve 500,000 pounds of protein to Mississippi tornado victims

Tyson Foods is lending a helping hand to those impacted by the recent tornado in rural Mississippi.

The meat giant has deployed a crisis relief team called “Meals that Matter” to serve meals to victims and volunteers in the Rolling Fork area.
Tyson is partnering with Walmart to set up cooking operations at an elementary school and plans to serve 500,000 pounds of protein.

The Meals That Matter team plans to be set up in the area for at least a week.
