The U.S. Senate Finance Committee plans to meet Tuesday to consider legislation to enact the USMCA trade deal on Tuesday.
Once approved by the Senate Finance Committee, the legislation would be considered by the full Senate.
According to White House trade advisor Peter Navarro, the deal could pass as early as Friday.
The U.S. House officially approved the deal on Dec. 19.
