USDA’s predictions for corn, soybean, wheat acreage

Earlier today, USDA released two of the biggest reports of the year.

We want to take a quick peek at the planting predictions:

For corn, the prediction is 91.1 million acres. That is about a million less than predicted at this year’s Ag Outlook Forum.
For soybeans, the prediction is 87.6 million acres. Well below the 90 million predicted earlier.
Wheat is at 46.4 million acres, above the 45 million predicted.
