One of the many splendid pieces of history that Hansen Wheel and Wagon Shop (Letcher, SD) has in its collection is a sleigh used in the bygone days of the Rural Free Delivery (RFD) mail service (the namesake of RFD-TV).
The business’ founder and operator, Doug Hansen, restores old wagons and also builds replicas of old wagons from scratch. He and his operation were recently featured on an episode of Rural Heritage.
