Visiting a state fair is a perfect way to support youth in ag

Fair season is in full swing!

This morning the Iowa State Fair kicked off!

On a call with ag reporters, Sen. Chuck Grassley said that a state fair visit is a perfect chance to help support youth in ag.

“Obviously, most of you folks know it’s one of the most anticipated events of the year, in which we can celebrate our agricultural economy, our heritage. We can even see a lot about industrial innovation and it showcases achievements across our great state,” the Senator explains. “Visitors can see the best of the best as they walk through the livestock barns and exhibit buildings that show how hard we work Iowa from our acres into their product.”

You can “Find Your Fun” at the Iowa State Fair through August 21st. The gates open at 8 AM each day.
