President Donald Trump elected Brooke Rollins to hold the position of the new Secretary of Agriculture. Rollins served as president of the America First Policy Institute, an organization closely allied with President Trump.

Her hearing with the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry begins today at 10 AM ET!

In a statement, Trump said, “As our next Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke will spearhead the effort to protect American Farmers, who are truly the backbone of our Country...Brooke’s commitment to support the American Farmer, defense of American Food Self-Sufficiency, and the restoration of Agriculture-dependent American Small Towns is second to none,” according to Reuters.

Rollins is confident that her background in agriculture as well as her experience with policy in Trump’s previous Administration makes her a good fit for this job.
