A Tennessee community beat out hundreds of towns across the country in a contest to fund an ag center.
An open field now, but coming soon-- training and meeting rooms, a covered pavilion, a commercial kitchen, and community garden.
Wayne County is getting its first ever ag center, to be built on this site in Collinwood, with 15 donated acres from the local government. It will also include a new home for UT Extension and soil and conservation offices, potentially a centralized hub for regional ag.
