Wheat Woes: Higher rates make U.S. wheat less competitive in the global market

Wheat groups are expressing disappointment in the Canadian Pacific-Kansas City Southern merger approval, claiming that it will hurt competition in the rail market and increase rates.

President of the U.S. Wheat Associates, Vince Peterson spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the issues they have with the merger, competition in other markets, and what will be done moving forward.
