Sometimes luck has nothing to do with it. When it comes to fishing it’s all about holding your mouth right!

Micka Burkhart of Tennessee set the state record for catfish when he pulled a 118-pounder from the Barkley Reservoir back in September of 2022.
However, his luck did not run out then.

In June of this year, while fishing along the Cumberland River, he reeled in a true river monster. Micka’s latest catch weighed in at an impressive 122 pounds. The blue cat measured 57.5 inches long and had a girth of 42.4 inches.

He released both catches back into the water.
