Where do propane supplies stand amid wintry weather?

As winter weather takes its toll on producers, the energy sector is currently not expecting any supply problems when it comes to propane.

The Propane Education and Research Center says it anticipates demand long before grain drying season. The group developed its own modeling system which can give valuable insight into propane supplies months out. Right now, it shows the U.S. is on the heavier side of supply compared to a year ago.

Winter weather could delay deliveries, but the group says drivers can usually catch up quickly especially if local governments lift driver restrictions on an emergency basis.
