Why are food prices increasing and not farmer profits?

In just a year, many of our staples like beef, bread, milk, and eggs are up double-digit percentages. The Michigan Farm Bureau shares some of the reasons we are seeing higher prices at the grocery stores, but why farmers are not seeing a profit increase.
