Wild horse death toll reaches 117 at BLM facility and a cause has been determined

There is an update on the wild horses that died at a Colorado facility.

The death toll has now reached 117 and BLM now blames equine influenza. The bureau captured more than 1,100 horses last year, and officials say that the sick horses were vaccinated within a week of getting sick.

However, some groups question why the horses had not already been vaccinated when they arrived. The bureau is investigating if the vaccines played a role.
