Wisconsin FarmHer Continues Family Dairy Legacy

Kristin Quist is continuing her family’s commitment to registered Holsteins.

DEER PARK, Wis. (RFD News) — Kristin Quist is helping carry on a six-generation dairy farming legacy at her family’s operation in western Wisconsin.

The family milks about 1,200 Holsteins and has continued expanding the farm through new technology while focusing on cow comfort and high-quality forage. In 2021, the operation also began registering its entire Holstein herd to help support the breed’s future.

Quist said continuing her family’s legacy and raising the next generation on the farm remain among her greatest priorities.
