World Trade Organization says global trade levels will drop

The World Trade Organization say that all facets of global trade will see a loss due to the coronavirus pandemic. The bounce back will vary depending on the duration of the crisis.

WTO predicts that, worst case scenario, global trade will drop more than 30 percent, which is close to the Great Depression numbers; while best case scenario, there will be a drop of only 13 percent, mirroring the financial crisis of 2008.
