Farmers and ranchers fought back, saying it would lead to increased regulation of their land. That’s why, back in February, the Environmental Protection Agency delayed WOTUS, but environmental groups sued the Agency, saying it rushed the rulemaking process. The judge agreed with the environmentalists, putting WOTUS back in place, as the Administration works to replace it.
