Agribition Moves Forward After Brandt Deal

RealAg Radio host Shaun Haney discussed the latest developments surrounding Agribition and Brandt’s investment in new livestock facilities

ALBERTA, Canada (RFD News) — The Canadian Western Agribition is moving forward after months of uncertainty following The Brandt Group’s purchase of much of Regina’s REAL District.

RealAg Radio host Shaun Haney joined us on Monday’s Market Day Report to discuss the latest developments.

Haney says Brandt has committed to building an $8.5 million livestock facility before this November’s show, providing confidence for exhibitors and breeders who rely on Agribition each year. He says the investment also demonstrates Brandt’s commitment to keeping one of Canada’s premier livestock events in Regina.

Haney says maintaining high-quality livestock facilities is critical because Agribition attracts some of the top livestock genetics in North America.

Looking beyond this year’s event, Haney says the changes could create new opportunities by expanding trade show space.
