Recent buying habits by consumers are shifting the way beef councils are spending their checkoff dollars.
Tammy Vaassen is with the Wisconsin Beef Council. She says the popularity of online grocery shopping is changing how they market products. She says the pandemic caused more families to eat meals at home, so they have had to get creative with keeping beef on the menu by offering online cooking classes.
Even though most restaurants are operating at full capacity, she says inflation is causing consumers to once again eat more meals at home.
