American Farmland Trust has just launched the U.S. Farmed Certification and packaging seal for products mainly sourced from American farms.
They announced today that Anheuser-Busch is the first major company to adopt this certification, starting with Busch Light beer, followed by other popular brands.
The brand aims to encourage consumers to support domestic agriculture, and AFT will use the funds from certifications to support U.S. farmers nationwide with free resources and expert advisory services for accessing, protecting, and maintaining farmland.
National Corn Growers Association said efforts like this are a testament to the quality products that come from America’s farms each and every year.
