Calling for E15: What a new survey reveals about public opinion

The people want year round sales of E15 and for Congress to make it happen. At least that’s what a new survey from the polling firm, Morning Consult, shows.

Out of 2,000 voters nationwide, 67% support the U.S. increasing the availability of E15, and a good portion want Congress to take action on the matter.

63% support the Flex Fuel Fairness Act, which encourages car makers to expand production of flex fuel vehicles.

61% favor the Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act, which allows E15 to be sold permanently nationwide.

61% are also for the Next Generation Fuels Act, which establishes a high octane, low carbon fuel standard.
