Calving Season Update ’23: Dalkena Highlands in Newport, Washington

As calving season kicks off in certain regions, we are taking time to catch up with producers across the country to get some first-hand perspective from their operations.

Derek and Honey Smith of Dalkena Highlands spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on their operation, what sets highlands apart from other breeds, and how calving has been so far.
